A few days ago I was flying my Neo. A tad of wind, but nothing crazy. Suddenly, my neo took off like a bat out of hell. Unresponsive and flying away at full speed. I was able to control it by switching it to sport mode. It was quite the adrenalin rush. Then, one week later, it did it again...

Is anyone else obsessed with these little drones? I love mine so much!

Well, apparently that's what the "flip" will be.

I've been using the Sunnylife filters (the ones with a small plastic hook that get attached by "hugging" the gimbal's top part). No complaints at all, they work great.

I'm looking to buy a dedicated phone to fly my neo, I don't want to spend too much $$$, so I'm looking at some android phones (which I know diddly-squat about). Do you guys know if "Xiaomi Smartphone M5s" one would run the fly app just fine? These are the specs from Amazon: Xiaomi...

Damn, you're right. In the end, 24fps wouldn't move the needle on sales (and given the target audience for this particular done, neither would a flat color profile.)

I totally understand the costs of software development. But let me give you a clear example: Setting the camera to record in 24fps (when it can already do 30fps and 60fps in HD) wouldn't carry any significant development costs to them. The software, hardware, and capability are already there...

That would work in a pinch... But I'm used to using nd filters on all my cameras, so I guess it's just habit for me. :)

I was using pro with an ND16 filter to avoid overexposure. The footage is obviously color corrected and color graded (with Lumetri and Dehance in After Effects). I used Kodak Portra 400 film emulation and a digital Black Pro Mist filter (Filmconvert Hazy).

I absolutely LOVE my Neo! :)
