Former Navy Pilot, transitioned my commission to NOAA as a research pilot. Started my own business in Africa supporting relief operations. Ended up with over 100 aircraft and several hundred employees working 6 countries. Sold that went back to aircraft engineering and geophysics survey aircraft, owned two MRO's, two airlines in Africa and two FBO's in the USA and two US based charter services. Lease aircraft offshore to regional operators and still do geological consulting and remote sensing jobs. Have a pile-O-drones to do research with. Got a Neo to take where I run into far too much paperwork to fly in that country. The Neo can allow me to do very close inspections without rock climbing. I am getting older. If it is confiscated, oh well. However I do my work in the middle of nowhere and there is rarely other humans about within 20 miles.
